What’s Different about Pontoon Blackjack?

Playing and Winning Pontoon Blackjack
For a start, Pontoon Blackjack is played with many more cards. The game uses 8 52 decks of cards. 2 or more players can play the game but it gets more interesting when at least 5 players are involved. Each player is dealt 2 face-up cards (but the dealer is dealt 2 face-down cards). Should the dealer notice a pontoon in his 2 face-down cards he immediately gets everyone’s bets and all cards. Players can stick if their cards total 15 (or more) or they have a 5 card trick. Players are also allowed to hit throughout the game and can double from 2 to 4 cards. Players should read the instructions on splitting and re-splitting as this varies depending on where one is in the game.
All cards are valued the same way that they are in regular blackjack. Pontoon is when one gets an Ace and a card valued at 10 (10, jack, queen, king) like in blackjack. If one manages to get 5 cards that do not exceed the 21 limit, this is called a 5 card trick and it does not even matter what the ultimate total is.
